Dropkick Murphys
ŠRC Šalata, Zagreb
27.07.2026.
The unstoppable Irish-American folk punkers Dropkick Murphys are returning to Zagreb’s Šalata stadium on Monday, July 27, 2026.
The world’s most popular representatives of the Celtic punk rock scene are coming two years after they packed Šalata. And this time, the favorites of the domestic audience will stand in front of hordes of loyal fans for a big open-air concert in the heart of the city.
With sold-out concerts around the world, packed arenas, sweaty and hilarious performances, Dropkick Murphys, with persistent work, sincerity, energy, promote the voice of the working class and the little man. They have won over lovers of whiskey and beer, Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, every kind of good fun and the whole world with their infectious melodies that they bring to Šalata stadium in the summer.
Dropkick Murphys were formed in 1996 in Quincy, a suburb of Boston, and since 1998 they have released 13 albums. Successfully combining traditional Irish folk and punk, they sing about failed industry, the Boston harbor, oppressed workers, family, friendship and love, and give equal roles to the bass and electric guitars to bagpipes, flutes, violin and mandolin, which is typical of Celtic punk. The latest album “For The People” is another opportunity to hear the band’s recognizable punk rock, and the acclaimed release is a story about contemporary problems, fear and solidarity in an age of disunity.
Not flirting with the mainstream and doing things their own way, they always remain themselves, creating music that can be played in arenas, stadiums, celebrations, but also in bars. Their discography includes albums that have reached the top 10 of the Billboard charts, gold albums, half a billion streams, as well as songs that have been featured in Oscar-winning films such as those by Martin Scorsese. At the same time, their charity The Claddagh Fund helps organizations for children, veterans and addicts.
Regularly sold-out concerts, with which they have filled the Tvornica Kulture twice so far, as well as the Dom Sportova and the Šalata stadium, have proven their legendary status with local fans. The return to Zagreb once again proves that the band has paid a lot of attention to the local audience and venues, and the performance at Šalata next summer will be an opportunity to hear why Dropkick Murphys are still one of the most sought-after bands today.
Tickets for the Zagreb concert are available from Friday, November 28, at 10:00 AM at an early bird price of 39 euros. Tickets are available at points of sale and in the CoreEvent system, as well as at Dirty Old Shop, Rockmark and Dallas Music Shop Rijeka.
