ANNEXED (speed metal, Zagreb, Croatia) is a young four-piece band formed in 2023 and had the honor to open the evening.
The band made themselves known with their debut single “Castle Bravo” which firmly established their direction in the speed subgenre. I was extremely impressed by the band’s inspiration, which feels firmly rooted in the golden age of the 80s. Great gig guys (and a girl)!
VIPERA (speed’n’roll, Zagreb, Croatia) drew us straight to the snake pit and stirred up the atmosphere to the boiling point! This trio could perform at the biggest biker and metal gatherings and delight everyone present. The amount of energy within the band is simply incredible and they have proven themselves to be excellent entertainers and musicians! Definitely the highlight of the gig was the performance of “Lioness“!
LUDGAR (black/thrash; Linz, Austria) blew the stage and our minds! So far, they have been noticed with the released demo “Molochian Rites” and have been formed in 2014; which amazed us with its combination of their youthful energy and firm hold on old school approach. The live performance last night proved that the band has the maturity and stage charisma that proves the readiness to conquer much bigger stages!
BEZDAN (death/thrash, Čakovec, Varaždin (early); Ludbreg, Zagreb (later), Croatia) promoted their full-length album “Upon the Altar” that was released in 2025 by the legendary underground label I Hate Records. The band which was formed in 2012 is known for numerous hits and songs that will soon become hits, such as „Satanska Kurva“. They started their career in a full sense with the release of the demo Of Visions and Voyages in 2014. The band created an incredible atmosphere that combined the atmosphere of death, blasphemy and death. A very good performance that proved the band’s maturity and readiness to go out and achieve wider success beyond the borders of the country!
