One of the most important representatives of European folk and power metal, TÝR, will lead the spectacular “Valhalla Calling” European tour that will arrive at Zagreb’s Boogaloo on December 14, 2026! On this occasion, they will promote their tenth album, and will be joined on stage by Swedish power metal force Twilight Force, their compatriots Dragonland and Dutch folk metal hopefuls Vanaheim. The audience can expect an evening filled with epic choruses, Norse mythology, fantastic stories and new songs that the bands will present ahead of the release of their upcoming albums. Early bird tickets priced at 30 euros are available from Friday, June 19 at 10 am via the Hangtime website. The pre-sale price will be 35 euros, while on the day of the concert, if any remain, they will cost 40 euros. Physical tickets will soon be available at the Dirty Old Shop.
Hailing from the Faroe Islands, TÝR has been one of the most recognizable names in modern folk metal for over two decades. The band was founded in the late 1990s and has built a worldwide reputation by fusing traditional Nordic motifs with powerful heavy and progressive metal. Led by charismatic singer and guitarist Heri Joensen, they have released a series of critically acclaimed albums over the course of their career, including Eric the Red, Ragnarok and Valkyrja. They are particularly known for their songs inspired by Norse mythology and the maritime tradition of the Faroe Islands.
