American death metal giants Suffocation are returning to Zagreb as part of their “Southern & Eastern Europe” tour! Undoubted favorites of the local audience, they will perform on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Boogaloo. The tour also marks the 35th anniversary of their cult album *Effigy of the Forgotten*, with several tracks from the record set to be performed. Rounding out a lineup where every band name consists of just a single word are Ingested, Undeath, and Eternal, making this one of the most brutal metal events of the year in Zagreb. Early bird tickets priced at €29 are sold out. Following the early bird phase, the presale price will be €33, while tickets on the day of the show—if any remain—will cost €37. Suffocation formed in 1988 in Centereach, Long Island, and have been synonymous with brutal and technical death metal since their inception. Their 1991 debut album, *Effigy of the Forgotten*, is considered a pivotal release in the genre and a record that profoundly influenced the development of various death metal subgenres. Throughout their career, the band has built a reputation as a devastating live act, combining technical precision, guttural vocals, and relentless blast beats—something the Zagreb audience has witnessed firsthand on multiple occasions. Their influence resonates through generations of death metal and deathcore bands that followed in their wake. The current album “Hymns from the Apocrypha” was released for Nuclear Blast, and the band continues to act as one of the most important institutions of extreme sound.

The British Ingested come from Manchester, where they were founded in 2006. Through almost two decades, they have grown into one of the strongest names in British extreme metal. Their sound combines slam, brutal death metal and deathcore into a massive, modern and relentless whole. During their career, the band played with names such as Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Nile, Carnifex and Revocation. With the current album “Denigration”, they continue to confirm their status as one of the most uncompromising bands on the scene, and it would be a sin to miss their performance.

Eternal come from Phoenix, Arizona and belong to the new generation of American old school death metal. The band was founded in 2021, and already with the first EP “Forsaken Memories” it attracted the attention of the underground scene thanks to the combination of raw death metal, thrash and dark melodies. The next release “Faceless Evil” further cemented their status as one of the most promising young bands of the American scene, while the debut album “Cryptic Lust” from 2024 brought an even more mature and brutal sound inspired by classics like Death, Obituary, Gorguts and Entombed. Their style combines Florida and Swedish approaches to death metal, with an emphasis on aggressive riffs, horror atmosphere and old school energy.
