Funebrarum!!! Founded in 1999 in the deep damp crypts of forgotten gods in New Jersey among decaying tombs and abandoned dungeons. Funebrarum was formed by vocalist Daryl Kahan, guitarist Nick Orlando, drummer Dario Derna and bassist David Wagner. From the very beginning, they wanted to play dark, slower and atmospheric death metal influenced by bands like Incantation, Immolation, Demigod, Bolt Thrower and the like. Unlike many American death metal bands of the time, Funebrarum combined the grave heaviness of the American scene with the darker atmosphere of Finnish death metal, which quickly made them a cult name in the underground. They have three excellent albums, a couple of demos, splits and two EPs behind them. “Beneath the columns of abandoned gods” was the first album, “The sleep of morbid dreams” was the second, and the latest “Beckoning the void of the eternal silence” was released a few months ago. That album is potentially the best death metal release that happened this year. This is their first time here and it is with incredible luck that we announce their performance to you because each album sounds as if it was dug out of a long-sealed sarcophagus that was forcibly opened to let darkness among the living.

Morbific comes from the dark forests of eastern Finland where the stench of decay, mold and open graves is transformed into raw old-school death metal. Founded in 2020, this trio quickly became one of the most interesting names of the new generation of death metal thanks to grotesque riffs, rotten production and sick atmosphere. The team does not hide their love for old school death metal, because on every release you can hear how much they love creepy and grotesque scenes of rotting corpses eaten by worms. They are not technically perfect, but in the sound you can hear a stable level of decay, drinking liquid from the sewers and the primordial horror that lurks under the tombstones. Although they have only been around for 6 years, they have released three albums and a few demos, splits and EPs. Their last one, “Bloom of Abnormal Flesh”, was released in 2025 and set the entire underground on fire with its power and the amount of rot and filth. Like Funebrarum, this is their first time here!
