Founded in 2003 by the Boggio brothers and Pixo, Carcharodon has been defying genre boundaries for over twenty years. Starting out as a powerful trio, the band forged a distinctive sound by blending the raw aggression of old-school death metal and death ‘n’ roll with the crushing heaviness of sludge-doom and the relentless speed of thrash. Their 2008 debut album, *Macho Metal*, garnered immediate critical acclaim and propelled the band onto international stages across Europe and the USA. This momentum continued with the 2013 album *Roachstomper* (Altsphere Production) and the 2014 split release *Pizza Commando* (Revalve Records), cementing their reputation as a tireless live act. The band’s evolution took a heavier turn with the arrival of drummer Nuzzi, whose hardcore and grind influences injected new ferocity into the lineup. This era produced the powerful album *Bukkraken* (Argonauta Records, 2018) and the 2023 masterpiece *Sbhorror* (Vacation House Recordings), alongside various split releases and live compilations. Now, in 2026, Carcharodon returns with their most ambitious album to date. Recorded with the same powerhouse lineup as their previous two albums, the new release—titled “Never on your side”—is the fastest and most intense of their career, ready to unleash a sonic assault on the audience. An old-school heavy/thrash metal band from Zagreb, founded in late 2014.
Members and lineup changes:
The band was founded by Željko Struški “Žac” (guitar + lead vocals), Krešimir Rajković “Kera” (bass + backing vocals), and Mirko Novak “Jim” (drums)—now a former member. Jim was successfully replaced by Dalibor Skadarka “Kljus,” who was in turn replaced by Alen Dumenčić in late 2017; Mateo Češković would later take his place in 2020. In 2022, another guitarist—Mihael Mikac—joined the band. In the second half of 2024, Robert Mahović “Maha” took over the bass position from Krešimir Rajković “Kera.” In late 2025, Željko Struški took over the bass position, Robert Mahović “Maha” left the band, and Josip Bukovščak took over as rhythm guitarist.
In mid-2026, Mihael Mikac stepped down as guitarist and left the band, leaving Josip Bukovščak as the sole guitarist. At the same time, Željko Struški “Žac” took over the bass position.
The idea was to create a straightforward metal (heavy, thrash) band without genre limitations, featuring lyrics primarily in Croatian. (The band is currently working on a new album scheduled for release in 2026, featuring lyrics in English.)
On October 3, 2016, the band released an EP titled “Impetus” via the Miner Records label, featuring four tracks. The full-length album titled “Surovo i sirovo” was released in May 2018 and contains nine songs. The current album, titled “Metal infekcija” (featuring 8 new tracks), was released in May 2022.

PRÎA (Doom Metal) Liguria, Italy
Prîa is a doom metal band from Western Liguria (Italy), formed in 2023. They play a classic style of doom metal and their lyrics are deeply rooted in their local region, covering themes such as: the history, legends, and folklore of Liguria. “Prîa” means “rock” or “stone” in the Ligurian language. A fitting name, as so many traces of the past have endured and reached us through stone.

ANGERSEED (Death Metal) Debrecen, Hungary
Formed in 2008, started by Peter D. Maniak (vocals). The band set itself the aim of Death Metal which is straightforward but at the same time allows complex devices as well. The band, which had a totally different line-up in the beginning, presented its first live show in December of 2008. Angerseed is constantly giving concerts both in their country and beyond borders, and a lot of positive feedback has been received regarding the band’s intense live performance. Although the band has had many line-up changes, this has never affected the live performances.
In the last 17 years Angerseed played countless shows, including many well-known acts, having the opportunity to share the stage with them, e.g.: Behemoth, Asphyx, Morgoth, Tankard, Krisiun, Mayhem, Decapitated, Hate, Cryptopsy, Borknagar, Anaal Nathrakh, SepticFlesh, Cattle Decapitation, Amon Amarth, Kataklysm, Arch Enemy, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Amorphis, Unleashed, Carcass, Cavalera, Destruction and many-many more. Angerseed’s first significant sign of existence was ‘The First Seeds (Before the Reign of Anger)’ EP in 2010. In 2012, as a summary of the band’s previous work, ‘Dawn of a New Kingdom’ EP was released, and got appreciative criticism from critics everywhere without exception. In January 2016 the first full-length album entitled ‘The Proclamation’ was released. This was simply the most earnest and completed work of the band so far, the album already got plenty of enthusiastic recognitions by the Metal mediums far and near. At the end of 2019 the new EP entitled ‘Forever Burning Hatred’ has been available in turn with the length of a full album and the band has stepped to a new level with the record in every aspect.
The band’s plans for 2025 and 2026 include releasing the new full-length album *Rapture is Mine… Glory is Ours* and achieving significant expansion beyond national borders.

Song themes revolve around mythology and monsters from the gaming world, blood, death, combat, and the like. Their music is inspired by bands such as Bathory, Destroyer 666, Sarcofago, Vulcano, Goatwhore, Absu, and others. The band formed in 2021 and released their debut album, “Wild Hound,” in 2024; they are currently working on a second album, due out soon.
