Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis will make their Croatian debut on March 1, 2026, at the Močvara club in Zagreb. The band is coming to the Croatian audience for the first time as part of a European tour promoting their current album “Pirates II – Armada”, and is bringing to Zagreb a spectacular blend of powerful vocals, orchestral arrangements and the cinematic atmosphere for which they have become recognizable on the world stage. All fans of the pirate aesthetic will definitely get their money’s worth. Early bird tickets are sold out! The pre-sale price is 32 euros, while on the day of the concert, if any remain, they will be 35 euros. Physical tickets are available at the Dirty Old Shop. Visions of Atlantis was founded in 2000 in Styria, inspired by the myth of Atlantis and the desire to combine female and male vocals with orchestral metal. Their musical style is described as a blend of symphonic and power metal and cinematic orchestration, with emphasized melodies and emotional vocal dialogue. Over the years, they have undergone several line-up changes, but they have retained their distinctive symphonic style and thematic dedication to mythical, historical and adventurous motifs. Visions of Atlantis soon caught the attention of the European metal crowd thanks to their debut album Eternal Endless Infinity (2002), followed by intense tours with bands such as Nightwish and Epica.
Over the years, they developed an increasingly rich orchestral approach, culminating in the albums “Delta” (2011) and “Ethera” (2013), and the key turning point was the arrival of the French singer Clémentine Delauney in 2013, who became the face of the band. Her strong stage presence and vocal interpretation combined with Michel Guaitoli’s male vocals brought the band a new dynamic and an international breakthrough. The album “The Deep & The Dark” (2018) marked their return to the big gates and their entry into the world sympho metal charts.
The albums “Wanderers” (2019) and “Pirates” (2022) follow, with which Visions of Atlantis confirm their status as the leading European metal band of the new generation in their genre. Their songs are about long journeys, personal transformations and mythical stories, and their concerts are known for their atmosphere, emotional performance and strong interaction with the audience, which is certainly one of the reasons for their growing popularity. In addition to studio albums, they have several live releases that certainly contribute to the reputation of a lively and convincing concert line-up.
Vision of Atlantis has performed at the largest European festivals such as Wacken and Masters of Rock, as well as tours in North and South America, Japan and Australia.
In addition to this concert, the Hangtime kitchen definitely recommends the concert of the Swiss band Eluveitie, which will take place on December 16 in Boogaloo. Get your tickets on time!
