After last year’s sold-out Tvornica kulture, Belgrade metal-punk machine Mortal Kombat returns to Zagreb! This time they will dare to perform a double concert at the cult club Boogaloo, on March 13 and 14, 2026.
The year 2026 also marks the tenth anniversary of the release of the legendary album “Besprekorna pobeda”, so the first day will be dedicated to that release – the band will play most of the songs from the album that marked the regional scene and won over the audience with its raw energy and sharp humor.
The second evening will be a real “best of” of Mortal Kombat, with a selection of the greatest hits from all phases of their career – with special guests and surprises that will be remembered.
On the scene for more than a decade, Mortal Kombat, with its hard sound and direct lyrics, satirically presents a sharp criticism of contemporary society. Growing up with hard underground music in the 90s and faced with a lack of local bands in that genre, they formed a band in 2009 that they themselves wanted to listen to. Their first songs already earned them an enviable number of views on YouTube, and since then, step by step – following their own rules, disciplined and relying solely on intuition – they have been building their way to the top of the regional alternative scene. In sixteen years of existence, they have released five studio albums.
