ONE EARTH TOUR 2024: WARABE

The legendary Japanese drummers Kodo take the breath away of audiences all over the world with each of their spectacular tours! We are proud to announce that they are coming to Lisinski again to present the new Warabe program!

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of this fascinating group of traditional taiko drum players, Kodo has created two programs based on their name: “Tsuzumi” takes its theme and name from the sign for the drum, and “Warabe” from the sign for the child. With the ‘One Earth Tour 2022: Tsuzumi’ tour, they delighted audiences all over the world, and the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall had the honor of hosting them as well.

In the new program “Warabe”, Kodo relies on his classical repertoire and aesthetics from the early days. This production combines simple forms of taiko expression that celebrate the synonyms of Kodo: unique sound, resonance and physicality – forever children drum in their hearts.
