EUROPE have announced celebrations for the 40th anniversary of *The Final Countdown*, their most famous album, which features the global hit of the same name.
In 2022, “The Final Countdown” surpassed one billion views on YouTube and remains one of the most recognizable tracks in rock history.
EUROPE will perform at the Alcatraz in Milan on October 14, 2026, presenting a setlist that includes a full performance of the *The Final Countdown* album—which also features hit songs such as “Carrie,” “Rock The Night,” and “Cherokee.” Finally, EUROPE have confirmed the upcoming release of a new album of original material.
The Canadian band The Damn Truth will open the show.
Radiofreccia is the concert’s media partner.
Joey Tempest (EUROPE’s lead singer) states: “Forty years have flown by in the blink of an eye, and we are about to play *The Final Countdown* in its entirety for the second time in our career, alongside other hits and our favorite tracks from our upcoming new album. It’s going to be fantastic; we are working to ensure the production and the show live up to this truly special occasion.”
