EMBRIO returns to Zagreb after three years. The concert will take place on October 31, 2026, at the Primarius Brewery. They are bringing along the Split-based band Ewiniar, marking their first performance before a Zagreb audience. Before and after the concert, DJ The Void Dancer—known to local audiences for the *Tanzdiktatur* events and many others—will keep the crowd dancing. The program will also feature a mini-market, an exhibition, and an aerial hoop dance performance. Tickets are available for €20.00 at Rockmark and via the toottoot.fm platform. It promises to be a Halloween party to remember!
EMBRIO is a Gothic Metal/Rock band formed in 1999 in Sinj. Inspired by bands such as Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Cradle of Filth, and H.I.M., the original five-piece lineup began crafting a unique, recognizable sound that became an integral part of the Croatian music scene.
In 2002, they released their debut demo album, *To My Beloved*, followed shortly by *Gabriel’s Grief* in 2005, at which point they began performing actively across Croatia.
In 2007, Embrio faced its most difficult moment since its inception when founder and frontman Branimir Vugdelija passed away prematurely. Despite this, the members decided to continue their work in his honor; they regularly organize the “In Memoriam Branimir Vugdelija” memorial concert, and in 2009, they performed internationally for the first time at the Metal Camp festival in Slovenia. After a hiatus and official cessation of activity in 2012, Embrio reunited in 2022. In November 2025, they released the long-awaited single “ZID”, which met with an extremely positive response from the audience and critics. They are currently preparing a new single “Blues before eternity”, which is scheduled to be released by the end of 2026. At the same time, Embrio is working hard on his new English-language album, the release date of which has not yet been officially announced, but we are eagerly awaiting it.

EWINIAR is a Gothic Metal/Rock band founded by Marin and Katarina Tramontana in 2021 in Split. Combining dark atmosphere and elements of gothic metal, the band has developed a sound that combines melancholy, intensity and cinematic depth.
They draw inspiration from their love for dark and melancholic music and bands such as Paradise Lost, Nightwish, Dead Can Dance, Nick Cave, The Sisters of Mercy, Type O Negative, Amorphis and many others.
They have two albums under their belts: *Burning the Light* (2021) and *Another World* (2023). These albums received positive reviews from gothic, rock, and metal media, earning praise for their songwriting, emotional depth, and production. *Another World* even featured a guest appearance by Hugo Ribeiro of Moonspell.
With female vocals, atmospheric passages, and heavier rhythms, they irresistibly evoke the bands we grew up with; yet, like the wind, Ewiniar sweeps away nostalgia to forge something entirely new and uniquely their own.
In January 2026, Ewiniar released the single “Fractured Harmony,” offering a glimpse into a new creative chapter. This was followed by “Perfect Sin” in June 2026, further showcasing the band’s evolving sound while remaining rooted in the dark, melodic character that defines their music.
They are currently working on their third studio album, and a portion of the new material will be premiered to the Zagreb audience. LINKS:
