Biohazard, legends of the New York hard core scene and one of the biggest HC bands in the history of the genre, are returning to Zagreb and to Boogaloo on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
After an incredibly long 29 years since they first set foot in Zagreb, Biohazard are returning to Croatia as part of a big tour for the release of their new album. The icons of the hardcore genre gathered in the original line-up and with the new studio release “Divided We Fall” come for a raw and powerful performance.
Biohazard was one of the first bands to combine elements of hardcore, metal, punk and hip-hop into their signature style. Reflecting on the themes of modern life and all its hardships, their furious music shaped the hardcore and metal scene that followed. Biohazard quickly became a global institution of HC, and since their inception in 1987, the band has been inscribed in the annals of hard rock music.
Biohazard’s self-titled debut put the spotlight on Brooklyn, gangs, drugs and violence, followed by the album “Urban Discipline”. Their furious vocals, layered over hip-hop music and heavy guitar riffs, earned them a fan base in the heavy metal and hardcore communities. This was followed by appearances with bands such as House of Pain and Kyuss, as well as a collaboration with hardcore rap group Onyx on the soundtrack for the film “Judgement Night”.
“State Of The World Address” sold a million copies and included a collaboration with Cypress Hill, while its successor “Mata Leão” took them to world stages and performances with names such as Ozzy Osbourne and Sepultura. The album “New World Disorder” returned them to a DIY approach without label support, and they toured Japan and Europe. Along with changes in members or periods of inactivity, the albums “Uncivilization” with guest appearances by members of Pantera, Slipknot, Sepultura, “Kill or Be Killed”, “Means to an End”, “Reborn in Defiance” followed.
After a decade reunited in the original Biohazard line-up, from 2023 they went on a series of global concerts with sold-out performances and festival appearances. Bassist and singer Evan Seinfeld, guitarists Billy Graziadei and Bobby Hambel and drummer Danny Schuler returned to record the album. The triumphant return was also brought by the new work “Divided We Fall”, which ended up on the lists of the best metal albums of 2025. Metal Hammer says this is the perfect comeback album that combines nostalgia and innovation, while Rock Hard praises the release and the fantastic sound of the guitars noting that it can hardly be better than “Divided We Fall”.
As musical pioneers in every sense, Biohazard bring a raw, energetic performance, and the hardcore icons will be joined by metalcore champions Sworn Enemy from New York.
First tickets go on sale from Friday, March 13th, at 10:00 AM, priced at 35 euros. They are available through the Core Event system, as well as Dirty Old Shop and Rockmark.
