Swedish power metal titans Sabaton, one of the biggest metal bands of the last two decades, are returning to Croatia for a grand open air spectacle at the Zagreb Fair on June 15, 2026. The concert will take place on the plateau in front of Pavilion 15.
The band, which has sold out various concert venues in our country on several occasions, has just completed a sold-out tour of arenas across Europe. They will return to Zagreb after a full 9 years and a concert at the Dom sportova in 2017.
Since their founding in 1999, Sabaton have secured a global fan base in more than two decades, released 11 albums, and won numerous awards and recognitions. Among them is the title of the best live band in the world, awarded to them by the reputable magazine Metal Hammer.
Combining fierce riffs with the distinctive vocals of singer Joakim Brodén, Sabaton creates heavy metal music that sings about wars and the people who participated in them. They touch on themes of magnificent victories, courage or personal struggles. Perhaps best known for their live performances, the band has toured North America, Australia and Japan, regularly performing at the largest European and world festivals as headliners. Their album sales reach gold editions, and most of their concerts are sold out in record time.
From a small support group, they have become one of the biggest metal bands of today. After the album “Primo Victoria” launched their thematic dedication to music, the band continued to break records and conquer the world with their albums “The Art Of War”, “Coat of Arms”, “The War to End All Wars”. The latest and most acclaimed album “Legends” presents the band at the peak of their power with their creative storytelling of history.
As a band that has dedicated a lot of time to playing in our region, Sabaton are confirming their connection with their local fans with their new tour. The opportunity to experience their powerful performance will be at a large open air concert next summer.
