A Night of Total Devastation in Zagreb!
Zagreb witnessed pure brutality as WRATH OVER EUROPE delivered exactly what every death metal fanatic hoped for — relentless riffs, crushing breakdowns, and an atmosphere soaked in aggression. Four bands took the stage, each bringing their own brand of sonic destruction, turning the venue into a warzone of blast beats, guttural vocals, and nonstop headbanging. From the first note to the final breakdown, the crowd almost never stopped moshing, proving once again that the underground extreme metal scene in Croatia is stronger than ever.

The evening opened with VAGINALITY, who immediately set the tone with filthy old-school brutal death metal. Drawing inspiration from legends like Disgorge and Devourment, the Zagreb band unleashed groove-heavy riffs and devastating slams that ignited the first waves of chaos in the pit. Their sound carried that unmistakable New York-style brutality while still feeling raw and uncompromised. Despite being one of the younger acts on the bill, they performed with confidence and intensity far beyond their years. The titles and lyrics of songs “Taste of a Decaying Whore” and “Vomit Inducing sodomization” will give you a little better idea of the atmosphere that prevailed during their impressive performance.

Next came KA’RAH, who delivered a darker and more crushing form of death metal devastation. The band’s performance was filled with punishing riffs, oppressive atmosphere, and sharp precision that kept the audience locked in from beginning to end. Songs from Epitaphs of War sounded even heavier live, with the band channelling pure aggression through every section. Their stage presence was commanding and uncompromising, confirming why they are quickly becoming one of the most promising names in the Croatian extreme metal underground.

The destruction intensified further with SCATOLOGY SECRETION, who absolutely obliterated the venue with their merciless performance. Their set was an unrelenting assault of technical brutality, thunderous drumming, and monstrous guttural vocals that barely gave the audience a moment to recover. Every breakdown hit like a hammer, while the band’s precision and tight execution showcased exactly why they are currently one of the most talked-about names in brutal death metal. The crowd responded with nonstop movement and chaos, fully embracing the apocalyptic energy coming from the stage.

Closing the night were the legendary PYREXIA, making their long-awaited first appearance in Croatia. From the moment they stepped on stage, the atmosphere changed completely — this was the arrival of true pioneers of New York slam brutal death metal. Their set combined classic material with tracks from Unholy, proving that the band remains as crushing and savage as ever after more than three decades of existence. Every riff sounded massive, every slam landed perfectly, and the crowd responded with absolute devotion, making their Croatian debut a night that fans will remember for years. Absolute chaos was ensued during the last song when the audience joined the band on stage and created an indescribable wall of noise, headbanging and pure ecstasy.
WRATH OVER EUROPE was more than just another concert — it was a celebration of brutality, underground unity, and uncompromising extreme music. With both international legends and rising local acts delivering unforgettable performances, Zagreb once again proved itself as an important stop for extreme metal in Europe. Anyone who attended left the venue exhausted, deafened, and completely satisfied after a night without mercy.
