The biggest small metal festival – a heart as full as a house!

The overall impression of the festival is very positive as it combined bands from different genres that needed support and we needed to hear them; hoping we will hear a lot more of them in the years to come. The organizers of the festival are also the warmest people you can meet, and somehow there was a prevailing feeling that warmth and welcome were omnipresent for everyone. This festival reminded us of the importance of friendship and good company. One of the most important ingredients of any good festival is a very good-humored company that gets you in the right mood; and there was plenty of that here and we can’t wait for the next editions of the festival and events organized by Toneless Events. It was an incredibly feel-good festival with great crowd and atmosphere and it took us several days to recover and try to get back to reality!! Definitely a great job was done by organizers and all the bands!

DAY 1: 23.1.2026

EMBERAM (technical thrash/groove/death metal, Zagreb) uncompromisingly destroy from 2022 and bring fresh energy and blood to the stage. The band prepared a great opening to the festival as the band quickly warmed up the audience and created a great atmosphere for the rest of the evening! The band had an excellent stage performance with lots of headbanging.

CYBER HATE (electronic/melodic groove metal, Zadar) were founded in 2012 and have released two albums and two EPs so far, but unfortunately had a longer break in their career. After seven years the band made a comeback and the news couldn’t be greater as this set was specially crafted to destroy! They opened the set with “Synchrony” and finished it strongly with “Upside Down” and ”In Space”. For the performance of “The Awakeing” the band invited a guest vocalist Lea and we were left simply amazed by the performance!

THROATTWISTER (groove/down tempo/hardcore, Zagreb) was formed in  2007 and they have one album and two EPs behind them to paint the picture about the band. The band presented their very interesting mixture of genres which sounded very coherently combined into a whole and dominated by a very interesting vocal. The vocalist broke his throat to get the best out of the very coherent cacophony of noise and avoided monotony with dynamic transitions.

DAY 2: 24.1.2026

GUTSWAMP (death metal, Zagreb) is a five-piece band that have only been around since late 2023 and have released their first EP in 2025. They opened the day very energetically and full of youthful anger and energy! The mosh pit was great and I was thrilled to see the opening band rocking the crowd so much and getting such a great feedback! It was incredible seeing such a young band emanating huge amounts and energy and they simply destroyed the place!

IN DAKHMA (death metal, Zagreb) combine death metal with black, sludge, progressive, post, doom and thrash elements through their riffs and growls which results in a very interesting combination. This trio gave a very energetic performance during which I was mostly impressed by the vocals and the synergy the team created, as hard death vocals were intertwined at some instances with the second vocalist and the overall impression was very positive. The audience feedback and mosh pit was great!

KYMERA (death/thrash metal, Osijek) was formed 18 years ago and they have indeed proved their maturity in the best possible way during this live act! The band has released two albums so far, but was always better known for great live performances. The performance was excellent and resulted in excellent audience feedback worthy of the band. They have proven their excellent musical training and we hope that the opportunities to see the band live will be much more frequent!
