The best concert of the year just took place!
The best concert of the year just took place in Boogaloo Zagreb and hardly anything can top this pleasure we had seeing Dark Tranquillity and Moonspell live together on the same night. We also seen the bands live during this tour in Budapest and Vienna and it’s a very rare occasion that I can say: I couldn’t get enough and say how many times of seeing the show would be enough as the energy from the bands were pure magic and they successfully transferred all the positivity and love back to the audience, so it was hard to be left untouched.
HIRAES, German melodic death metal band from Osnabrück, with 2 albums behind them although they formed just 5 years ago, but the experienced band members took their best experiences from previous work and bands and left us in awe, as the vocalist Britta Görtz especially won us over with her magnificent performance.
MOONSPELL had a magnificent performance fuelled by extreme amounts of energy and positivity. First bigger highlight of the show was the performance of “Extinct” and the setlist was perfectly balanced to fully satisfy the fans. The show ended mercilessly with the very best: “Breathe (Until We Are No More)”, “Alma Mater” and “Full Moon Madness”! Excellent show, excellent performers and divine experience for the fans definitely!
DARK TRANQUILLITY was pure magic: the feedback from the audience and from the band was very heart-warming and a perfect example of a simple act that makes fans go wild and totally obsess over the band. The vocalist Mikael Stanne, but also all other band members gave such warm greetings and established a very warm rapport with the audience which was truly a great sight. There were many highlights throughout the concert, out of which some were performances of: “Therein”, “Atoma”, “Forward Momentum” and many others of course! The concert ended with the legendary “Misery’s Crown” which is beyond a song. That piece of art represents a long-lasting impact and to some can bring one to decisions on life changing movements which is the greatest power art can have! To make us think, rethink, reconnect wrong pathways and make some things right and more positive. That song changed my outlook on life and made me live for myself for once in the most positive way. Many other Dark Tranquillity songs bring strong impact and there’s no greater success to musicians than to be remembered as highly influential, but not only in musical sense but also on a level of connecting and meaning the world to their fans! It was truly incredible having the pleasure of seeing the band live and enjoying positive feedback flash back and forth between fans and the band! Truly great and unforgettable, as always!
